Practice your plan so everyone is clear on where to go, what to do, and who they should notify. If an evacuation is required, set a meeting point away from danger so you can ensure everyone got out safely.

5. Maintain physical security

Finally, it might be worth adding in some physical security to protect your staff from harm. Physical security in the form of security guards is useful in acting as a deterrent and ensuring any unwanted visitors are prevented from entering the building or at least not getting past the entry points to the rest of the building.
